Metri Bio Expands Its Voice Across Women’s Health and Biotechnology

The Metri team at the Women's Health Summit

Throughout the second quarter of 2026, Metri Bio contributed to conversations shaping the future of biotechnology, women’s health, and endometriosis research. CEO and co-founder Ashley Abel represented the company at major industry gatherings, including the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit, the Yale Innovation Summit, MIT’s Science and Business of Biotechnology program, the UC Berkeley/QB3 Ovarian Health Summit, Science2Startup, and the BIO International Convention.

Ashley also served on the steering committee and joined the endometriosis panel at the Pillar and Lilly Women’s Health Summit, which brought together more than 120 leaders across research, industry, investment, and patient advocacy. These engagements gave Metri an opportunity to elevate endometriosis as a serious systemic disease, share the need for more human-relevant models, and build connections that can accelerate the development of disease-modifying therapies.

Our mission

Metri Bio is working to radically improve the lives of people suffering from endometriosis and uterine diseases.
